Stretching
Stretching is one of those rare things that feels good and is really good for you.
-
You should stretch right after every workout, make it part of your cool down.
-
You should stretch to a comfortable tightness and no further.
-
Don’t bounce.
-
Hold each stretch for 15 seconds. After the first 7 seconds of your stretch, see if you can comfortably pull the stretch just a little further.
-
If you get a little sore after a work out, try going through your stretches to ease the soreness.
-
Going through your stretches about an hour before bedtime will help you to sleep better.
