Aerobics

Strength training should only be done every other day, but aerobics should be a daily activity. You will need to come into the club to strength train, but aerobics can be done anywhere that you can move around. You can do anything that will get your heart rate up to 70% to 80% of it’s max. Once you achieve this elevated heart rate, it should be maintained for at least 20 minutes to get all the health benefits that this workout has to offer.

If you want a safe, temperature-controlled environment, you are more than welcome to come into the club for your aerobic workouts. The circuit is ideal for ‘aerobic only’ days, you just need to bring the intensity of your strength training workout down to about 70% to 80% of what it is on strength training days. As long as you don’t exhaust muscle in less than 30 seconds regularly on the machines, an easy way to have an aerobic workout is to just reduce your time on the machines by 5 seconds. Our trainers will be happy to help you.
